The Capital has been observing icy sunup and clear sunny afternoons for last two days. Several groups lit bonfire to keep themselves warm from head to toe. If buzz is to be believed, weather will be worsened on the New Year’s Eve.

Being 2 degrees below the normal temperature and the lowest in this winter up to now, the minimum temperature over the Capital and NCR regions dipped to 6.2 degrees Celsius. Sudden rainfall and snowfall may also take place at the regions of Jammu & Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
